‘Big Picture: Plants’ (2016)

To accompany our issue on ‘Plants’, we created a classroom poster detailing photosynthesis and its many processes and parts. It all starts with sunlight hitting the first photocentre (PSII). Then follow the process through the rest of the light-dependent reactions and onto the light-independent reactions, including the Calvin Cycle. The final product is glucose, which the plant uses in respiration for energy. A by-product of photosynthesis is oxygen, which animals breathe.

It complements our respiration poster nicely as well (if we do say so ourselves...)
