Extended projects need not only be for individuals
Did you know it is possible to offer individual EPQs within a larger team project? Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys in Kent has an effective model. Their Head of Science, Becky Parker, is happy to provide guidance to other school seeking to use this approach (see our interview with her).
The key thing to bear in mind when thinking about team projects is that each student must still have their own, clearly defined, discrete bit of work. Their question must be their own as must their results and their interpretation of these results.
